Chapel
We value chapel – joining together in praise and worship and listening to the Word. Tuesday through Friday, speakers from our campus and all around speak and share their testimony.

Student RSO Organizations
Whatever your interests, Texas Seminary Christian University has a student organization for you to broaden your knowledge base, understand other cultures, challenge yourself, expand your network of connections, develop leadership qualities, and HAVE FUN!

Criteria For Approval Starting A Student Organization
- Create a name that clearly represents the function of the student group.
- Have a clear purpose that is not duplicated by another student group or campus department and compliments the University’s mission.
- Create a local constitution or bylaws that outline organization operations.
- Have a separate President, Treasurer, and On-Campus Full-Time Faculty or Staff Advisor.
- Have a minimum of 6 students on their roster.
- Comply with all local, state, and federal laws and does not create undue risk or liability to the University.
- Upon request, submit group budgets and other information based on the type and complexity of the organization
RSOs categorize themselves based on their function as an RSO. Below are the current categories and a brief description
RSO Categories and Structure

Academic
Groups focused on a particular major or academic college. Groups who are supported and/or sponsored by a university division or college

Club Sports
Groups focused on sports programs and competition league play established under guidelines provided by the Texas Seminary Christian University Campus Recreation.

Student Governance
Groups whose purpose is to govern a number of smaller organizations and/or serve within the university’s governance system.

Greek
Social groups who are members of the four Greek governing bodies. (Interfraternity Council, National Pan-Hellenic Council, Panhellenic Council, & United Greek Council). Groups focused on providing service to the campus, community, and national charities

SkillsUSA is a United States career and technical student organization serving more than 395,000 high school, college and middle school students and professional members enrolled in training programs in trade, technical and skilled service occupations, including health occupations.
